99Cupid

Safety & Age Policy

Effective [ EFFECTIVE DATE ]

You must be 18 or older

99Cupid is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, regardless of the age of majority where you live. We ask for your date of birth at signup and we may ask for proof of age at any time.

If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it immediately and delete the data associated with it. Any content involving a minor is removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.

If you believe a member is under 18, report the profile or email admin@99cupid.com straight away.

Romance fraud: please read this before you meet anyone

International dating attracts people who are not there to date. The pattern is consistent and it is worth knowing, because recognising it is what protects you.

Never send money to someone you met online

Not for a flight. Not for a visa or a customs fee. Not for a hospital bill, a family emergency, a phone, or a business opportunity. Not as a loan you'll be repaid when they arrive.

No genuine connection requires you to send money to a stranger. If someone you have never met in person asks you for money, they are not who they say they are. We want to know about it.

Warning signs

Things that genuinely help

Meeting in person

Protecting your information

Don't put your home address, workplace, financial details, or identity documents in your profile or in messages. Be careful about photos that show your street, building, or workplace.

Be aware of sextortion: sharing intimate images with someone you have not met can be used against you. Once sent, you cannot take them back.

If something has happened to you

Report the account to us at admin@99cupid.com so we can remove it and protect others.

If you have sent money, contact your bank immediately. Recovery is sometimes possible if you act quickly. In Canada, report to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Elsewhere, report to your local police or national fraud reporting service.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.

Being targeted is not your fault, and we would far rather hear from you than have you stay silent out of embarrassment.
