Effective [ EFFECTIVE DATE ]
This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies 99Cupid uses, and how to control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. They let a site remember things between visits, like whether you're logged in. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels, and we mean all of those when we say "cookies" here.
These make the service work and cannot be switched off. They keep you logged in, keep your session secure, remember your preferences, and help us detect fraudulent activity. We do not need your consent for these.
These tell us how the service is used in aggregate: which pages people visit, where things go wrong, how features perform. We use this to fix and improve the service. Where the law requires consent, we ask before setting these.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through 99Cupid. If that changes, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent before any such cookie is set, wherever the law requires it.
Some cookies are set by the providers we use for hosting, payments and analytics. Those providers have their own privacy notices, and we choose providers that commit to handling data appropriately.
If we change what we use, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
